As a proud Japanese Brazilian currently living in Norway, Chiemi Nakashima Øygard leans on her diverse cultural background as a source of strength. She often refers to a quote that resonates deeply with her journey: “Made in Brazil with Japanese technology.” Although not her own words, it beautifully captures her identity. Now settled by the serene fjords of Norway, Chiemi has always found a deep sense of purpose in empowering others.

After earning a Bachelor’s in International Relations and a Master’s in Global Studies, Chiemi began pursuing her purpose in a greater capacity by founding Akoyamor Mentoring. Fluent in Portuguese and English with conversational proficiency in Norwegian, Spanish, and Informal Japanese, she routinely connects with a global audience of all backgrounds.

Through her work combining her strong intuition with DISC and Driving Forces assessments, Chiemi is indirectly fulfilling her childhood dream of becoming the conductor of an orchestra. By pairing each client’s strengths with the right timing and environment, she creates beautiful symphonies of self-transformation.

Every step of the way, Chiemi leverages her training from certified ICF coaches, her graduation from the Co-Creative Transformational Coaching Executive Program, and her certification as a TTI analyst, which she earned in 2011. By coupling her strong Christian faith with each Talent Insights assessment, she guides leaders to their true purpose and highest potential.

To date, Chiemi has worked with clients from all walks of life, including entrepreneurs, military officers, politicians and artists. Using the co-creative transformation model, she goes well beyond the assessment reports while turning hidden pearls into sources of strength.
